How to organise you cocktail events!

Most professional bartenders have a dream, they want everyone to recognise them because of their hard work and their thoughts about bar industry. It is absolutely logical for someone to want to become better every day and evolv your work so you can make a bar brand name.

After having a lot of experience behind the bar and you have made some really great recipes which impress your bar hosts maybe you should start thinking about organising events in order to promote your self. Let me explain you how I organised my last event with Moketo Espresso Liqueur & Ratthle UK Rum which will take place in London in December.

Generally you should organise your events with companies. My first thought was to get in touch with premium brands I have worked with them in the past. Premium brands is a great chance to work with since not many people know about them instead of brands which every bar use so it is known to the biggest part of alcohol's consumers. What I want to say is that premium brands will definitely be interested in events so they can promote their products too as you want to promote your name.

After you agreed in running the event the hardest part is starting. First of all you should start thinking about the concept of the event which will of course affect your menu if we are talking about a guest shift. Another good idea is to run a masterclass if you have a good knowledge of spirits.

The next step might be the most difficult. You will have to start looking for a venu where you will make the event. The best solution is to find a cocktail bar in the centre of the city you are interested. Now you should use all your skills in communication and dyplomacy so you can make an interesting offer to the bar which can not turn down.

Now you have to prepare your menu. This is also a difficult part since you have to come up with new creative ideas which will highlight the products and definitely be impressive for the people who will try them. Use all your imagination and your inspiration and the result will be magical.

Last but not least is to promote the event. Hopefully Internet has evented so the part of the promotion has become more easier than ever. You will need to make a poster for the promotion which should be connected with the type of the event you want to make. For example if you want to make a Christmas cocktail event wear a uniform of Santa Claus for the photoshooting.

I hope you find the advices I gave you helpful and you will make your own events. For those who are interested I am organising with A Cocktail Odyssey, Moketo Espresso Liqueur & Ratthle UK Rum A Christmas Coffee Cocktails Tale. You can email to eventsmoketo@gmail.com so you can book your invitations!
