IWCC is known as one of the oldest and most spectacular competitions in Europe.

24 years ago Peter Weissnegger, IBA vice world champion 1990, organised this event the very first time. Every year the most famous bartenders came to the picturesque Lake Wörth to compete for the popular Wörtherlake Cocktail Cup Trophy. Since then the glasses around the lake never got empty and the IWCC became an important role for bartenders and the beverage industry.

In 2010 Mario Hofferer took over the scepter and transform the event to an international major event in the mixology scene. The new IWCC concept paired with international successes and experiences of the MH cocktail entertainment group with the top gastronomy & hotel industry, the IWCC was enlarged in just a few years to more of the 20 participating nations.
